First jumping show! :)

It's been a while...

I now realize how long it has been since my last post, because a ton has happened in the last month.
So first of all I took thunder to his first show... A jumping show. I know what you are thinking "really? Jumping? I thought you only did western..." Yeah I realized Thunder loved it so I started doing It and now I love it too!! :) we placed third!!! :D
Then the next weekend we did a western show with both thunder and frosty and in total we won fifteen ribbons! Yeah, I've got some horses that enjoy showing off! :3

UPDATE!!

It's been a while... my bad! :3
So, the last while since I've updated have been well, eventful to say the least... So Thunder and I seemed to have lost our connection for a while. It got to the point when all I could do was walk and trot and even then he tried to buck me off. I seriously was almost in tears every time I went riding. I thought all of our work and practice was for nothing. BUT when I went on Saturday I did some joining up hoping that he would work for me. I chose to ride English and guess what? I was able to canter! We  did jumps again also, so we rode around for like an hour. Afterwards I took the saddle off and rode bareback for like an hour and a half. BEST FEELING EVER!! Cantering bareback is the best feeling in the world, especially when you can drop you reins. *shivers* I was in the best mood I had been in for a long time. I also took my pony over the jumps bareback but that's a different story. Let me just say... I LOVE MY HORSE LIFE (even though I am poor)

P.S. riding in the snow is quite cold. :)

Update on Thunder!

So lately I have been riding a ton! Getting ready for my last show of the season and so I decided to try something new. I myself am learning to jump, Thunder is AMAZING! There is no way we could go professional but he loves it! :) So that's about it for now, I stated school and haven't been able to get on much but I will as much as I can! :)

I'm back!

I am ashamed to say that I didn't place in my last show. :/ But that's okay... because I have one more this year! And... I didn't take any pictures from my trip to Wyoming... I might be able to get some from my dad in a few days.



So my next horse show is on September 21 and guess what?! It's going to be Thunder's very first show! :) I'll be showing on Frosty as well so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed! Right now I have eight ribbons I have won but I'm pretty sure I'll at least get one more... but I don't want to focus to much on winning! So that's about it for now... till next time!

Going To Wyoming! :)

This weekend I am leaving to Wyoming!! I FINALLY get to get out of this heat and go to my "future home" state. I get to explore the Wyoming mountains on horse back!! I can not wait. Mean while I have another horse show today... hardly have practiced at all! I will be sure to post pictures from the show and my trip to Wyoming. For now... BYEEE!! :) :) :)
